Supplemental Post 1 John Wayne Billboard

I  saw this billboard driving in LA by Echo Park this weekend. It's done by the values.com campaign which tries to set good role models through advertisement. I think this billboard goes to show and signify the "grit" value that Wayne still possess in modern day culture. I find this billboard fascinating as well as the need to still instill the "value" of grit onto a generation, specifically masculine grit through a 1940s western character.
