I want to talk about Youtube and Vine stars. These people propelled their own platform and some YouTubers make checks in the low seven figures. With the rise of digital entertainment, these people are becoming not only celebrities, but legitimate content creators and actors. There has even been debate whether these platforms deserve awards like film and TV get.
I also think it's interesting to think about Snapchat with this. Certain people are widely followed and known for their snapchat (DJ Khaled, Kylie Jenner, any Kardashian). I wonder if Snapchat will become like youtube and vine and there will be people making millions of dollars off less than ten second video snaps. What a time to be alive!
